May 19, 2009: The acceptance of notice has been sent to the authors.
March 16, 2009: The call for papers has been closed on March 6, 2009. More than 100 abstracts from more than 20 countries have been submitted.

February 23, 2009: KELAG supports IWAIS 2009.

February 12, 2009: The State Secretariat for Education and research, SwissElectric Research, the Andermatt Alpine Destination Company and Groupe E support IWAIS 2009.
